National Shakespeare Competition

“Every year WRA participates in the National Shakespeare Competition.  If you love acting or you love Shakespeare or BOTH - this is the competition for you.  WRA will hold it's own competition first to choose a school winner to advance to the regional round.  The first preliminary round will be held in early December so it's time to choose your monologue and get started!  Click here for a link to the contest website and a document answering frequently asked questions.  Please don't hesitate to ask questions or come and see me about choosing a monologue.  I am in KFAC 213.”  Mrs. Ong

October is
National Information
Literacy Awareness Month.

In today’s digital world, people who are information literate
know how to find, access, and critically evaluate information
to improve their health, their environment, their education
and workplace performance.

Having that skill set empowers them to interpret and make informed decisions about their lives, in essence, taking more responsibility for their own individual welfare and that of our nation.
